Title Tag

One of the most important — and easiest — changes you can do to help your site’s ranking is to change the title tag to focus on one of your keywords.

Visually, the title tag is shown in the blue border window at the top your webpage when you are viewing your site in your browser.

If you do a View > Source when you are looking at your webpage you will see the actual HTML code of your page. The title tag is located at the top and will be within the and tags.

What you want to do is make sure that your main keyword is within the title tag. This greatly helps the search engines to understand what the page is all about.

Here’s an important tip: Each PAGE of your website should have it’s own unique title, one that focuses on a different keyword. Too often we see websites that use the exact same title for each page.

Make sure that each page focuses on a separate keyword that you want to rank for in the search engines.
